Entries for the meeting at Amman Valley on the 28th July have been extended until 3PM today Monday 22nd July. As it stands there are not enough horses entered to stage a meeting.

As this weekend is the York PACT Charity meeting all attendees will be expected to pay the £10 gate entry as this is donated to the charity. All races will be expected to run on time due to a busy race card with no horses being turned away. The car will go without you if you are not on track on time. There will be warming up before racing as well as one slot between racing and the qualifiers will be run after the last race. York Track Management

Unfortunately due to only receiving 27 race horse entries the meeting at Amman Valley on the 28th of July will be cancelled.

It is with deep regret that due to a horrendous weather forecast for Saturday 20th July 2024 we are forced to cancel tomorrows Crock Of Gold Race Meeting. We have thought long and hard about this but the forecast is for persistent and heavy rainfall from 2pm and we have to put the safety of our competitors, spectators and staff first. We have made the call early to hopefully avoid people travelling unnecessarily and so that people can cancel hotels 24 hours before. Tir Prince Management

Following on from the announcement that York PACT Meeting will be one day on Saturday 27th July, there have been some changes to the original fixture list. Amman Valley will now race Sunday 28th July instead of Wednesday 24th July. Appleby are still running Sunday 21st July and Thursday 8th August as planned but they have swapped around the events. The Kit Bousfield meeting will now be Sunday 21st July with Appleby New Fair meeting being staged Thursday evening 8th August with Heats/Finals being held at both events. Event 1 - Horses with No Lifetime Wins Entry Fee £70 - If the event is over-subscribed a maximum of one entry per owner and or trainer will be accepted. In the event the race is still over subscribed, runners will be determined by a ballot. Maximum 12 runners.  Event 2 - Horses with minimum 1 and maximum 2 Lifetime Wins - Entry Fee £70 - If the event is over-subscribed a maximum of one entry per owner and or trainer will be accepted. In the event the race is still oversubscribed the top 12 rated horses will be accepted to run. Event 3 - Billy Williams Memorial Crock of Gold Heats & Final - Entry Fee £100 - Top 30 horses accepted to run. Races to be run as a HANDICAP where 10 points = 10 yards. Maximum trail of 50 yards in the final.  Event 4 - STAGBI 3YO British Championships - Entry Fee £100 - Run as per STAGBI conditions. Minimum of 5 entries per sex for races to be split. Event 5 - STAGBI Future Broodmares Pace - Entry Fees £100 - Run as per STAGBI conditions.
